Ladies: Gender Bender Party Help?

Ladies, I%26#039;ve been invited to a gender-bender party (party where you have to dress as the opposite sex). I think, while different, this sounds very cool and fun - I%26#039;ll try anything once. Will you help me pick out an outfit?

A little about me:

- I%26#039;m 5%26#039;7, 150

- Blond hair (though I%26#039;ll probably get a wig)

- nice legs and butt, or so I%26#039;m told

- size 7.5 mens shoe, so that shouldn%26#039;t be a problem.

Links are welcome. Thanks!

Go classy not trashy.

Have a woman do your make-up so you actually look like the average female - not a cheap hooker! lol

and go for a nice black dress. Preferably knee length.

Blond hair is good, long is better. If you can get it in an up-do...perfect!

If not, a good wig, not a halloween wig!

You should definalty post pictures and give us a link!

Have fun!
Reply:If you%26#039;re not willing to shave, don%26#039;t wear anything that shows your legs or underarms. (Dark hose is a good way to cover hair on the legs if you do want to wear a skirt, though)

At that height and weight, you%26#039;re probably a size 10 or 12, although (and I%26#039;m sure you don%26#039;t want to hear this) you%26#039;re going to need to try things on - sizes vary from store to store, and brand to brand. Someplace like Target or Old Navy that has all the fitting rooms in the same place is probably a good bet.

If you can do anything feminine with your hair, I%26#039;d skip the wig. It%26#039;s too easy for a wig to look obviously fake and overly shiny. Brush your hair down over your ears, create some bangs, and put in a barrette, and it%26#039;ll probably look naturally feminine. Obviously if you have a crew cut or otherwise really short hair this won%26#039;t work.

7.5 mens is about 9-10 women%26#039;s, although you%26#039;ll probably need a wide (I%26#039;m a size 8 EE in women%26#039;s, but only a standard size 6.5-7 in men%26#039;s; men%26#039;s shoes run wider). Try a Payless or, again, Target; they tend to have good variety across sizes.

As far as what to wear - it depends on if you%26#039;re trying to look natural and blend, or if you want to stand out as %26quot;a guy in a dress%26quot;. The easiest way to stand out is to be overdressed - something like a miniskirt, 4 in heels, and a spangly top would stand out on anyone. If you%26#039;re trying to blend and look natural, a pair of tight jeans and a nice blouse will look good anywhere.
Reply:dress like a washed out ex-stripper hag... with bright bright red lips that are on ur teeth. long super platinum wig, big huge boobs and tight clothes: either a pink jonging suit like the one britney wore on her wedding or black tights with a tight shirt that has a leopard/zebra or any animal print. wear long fake eyelashes and super duper high heels and a huge tacky bright pink bag... GO all out!!!
Reply:As a guy, who has been in %26#039;drag%26#039;......

I would recommend a wig, as you want to create the %26#039;illusion%26#039;. You%26#039;d be in approx a 9 in women%26#039;s shoes, and you can get a decent pair at Goodwill or the like. Depending on the color of the outfit, you can get a matching pair of nylons, and fishnets over them. With the makeup, you will need to start with PAN STICK, something that actors use. Most women don%26#039;t need to use pan stick. The other tip is the tucking.... wear something tight and well, tuck it. After the nylons you want to wear something short over them just in case the dress/skirt or whatever it is ends up showing the goodies. Finally, you might consider watching videos, and study how a woman moves in the clothes she wears AND practice walking in the heels. It takes practice NOT to break your neck!

Good Luck! I hope you have fun, I know I have on more than one occasion :)
Reply:Are you supposed to dress outrageously, necessarily, or can you dress however you%26#039;d like? If you can dress however, then consider going as something a little more... normal... because it will look a lot cuter instead of just being outrageous like everyone else.

Have a look at how Dave is dressed in the YouTube clip at 4:34 and 5:46. That hairstyle looks really good on a lot of guys who dress as girls. Also, dresses like that look pretty cute no matter who wears them.

Have fun at your party!
Reply:Why not dress up as a pop princess?

It%26#039;s always a hoot at gender bender parties.

Dress as Britney or Christina or Paris.

Everyone will love it and get a laugh and a half out of it.

Size 9 about in womens shoes you will wear.

Skimpy clothes why not hit the local thrift store if this is a one time affair?

And get a little dog carrying bag to put a fake pooch in.

You know how they love their puppies oh so much.

And for Britney you could put a baby doll in the bag in place of the pooch as one of her kids.

Hahahahahahaha.
